Probable 2026 Camp Info:

Format:
Wednesday - Friday noon to 6pm
** Saturday: 9am to 3pm.
There will be a tournament for the last few hours of Saturday.

After Camp W, Th & F:
Maybe one-on-one lessons with Coach Houser or his staff.

Divisions:
Minor League: girls with 0-1 season of school/club vball.
Major League: girls with at least 2 seasons of school/club vball.

Camp Director: Tom Houser

Coach Houser is the owner of STAR Volleyball Services. He is the author of the "I Can't Wait" to coach books, and Drill Collection. He has coached 18 varsity teams, 11 JV team and 26 club teams. Abby Stallings
Abby is the former JV coach at Chatham High, near Chatham Va. She is a 2016 graduate of Chatham, and a 2020 graduate of Averett College in Danville, Va. She attended Coach Houser’s STAR camps when she was a teenager and has worked one clinic and 2 camps with him! She has also coached club volleyball. You guys are going to LOVE Abby!! Hannah Goodwin
Hannah just graduated from Bob Jones University where she played volleyball for 4 years. She graduated from Chilhowee High School in 2023. She has helped coach school ball & club ball. She's excited to join the STAR staff! You can reach Hannah at hgoodwin1304@gmail.com

Lauren Torborg
Lauren is a 2026 graduate of Tunstall High School. She has played school ball for 5 years and club ball for 5 years. She has attended multiple camps, clinics and lessons, and has been a member of Coach Houser's staff at 3 other STAR Camps. You can reach Lauren at volleyballlkt@gmail.com

Grace Morgan
Grace will be a junior on the Cave Spring volleyball team this fall. Grace is a wonderful hitter, passer and server; but, you'll be most impressed with her smile and how much she will help volleyball athletes. Taetym Russell
Taetym is a member of the varsity volleyball team at Christian Heritage School in Rocky Mount, Va. Her mother played college volleyball at Ferrum and Taetym has been researching doing the same thing. Taetym has played 6 years of school ball and 5 years of club. She can play middle, right or left. She knows more about the intracacies the game than many coaches.
