Saturday's results:

Morning:
We beat New Kent Coyotes:  25-12, 25-16
We beat Fredericksburg 15-2 team:   25-8, 25-9
We beat VEVO 25-17, 25-19

Afternoon:
We beat Synergy:  25-15, 25-21
We beat Fredericksburg 15-1 team:  25-22, 17-25, 15-11 (GREAT comeback in the 1st game!!!)

Sunday's results:

Sunday Morning:
Challenge Match:  We beat VEVO 25-14, 25-11

Playoffs:
We beat Coastal:  25-12, 25-12
 (after they tricked me into thinking 3 of their players were left-handed!)
We beat RVC 15N:  25-21, 25-27, 15-13
We beat Williamsburg 15 Black in the finals:
25-20, 25-27, 15-13.

We finished the tournament 18-3.
For the season, we're now 101-26.

Team Memories!

This weekend had to be the best we have ever played as a team [[in my opinon]].  We really came together as a team, and no matter how far down we were, espicial in a few of those third games, we always had full confidence in each other to pull through and do our jobs.  We may have gotten in a few funks every once in a while but everyone just kept their heads up and did what they had to do to get their job done.  Great job everyone. I love my team...enough said

This weekend we were all so focused on playing well, and it really payed off!  We really gave it everything we had, just like we planned to.  Everybody did really well, especially our passers.  And, of course, Laura had a really cute haircut!

This weekend was amazing. on and off the court was a blast. i think it was great the way we played to our potential when we played the weaker teams and then stepped up to the competition at the end of the tournament when the playing got tough. It was so cool to see everyone fight in the last two matches against williamsburg and RVC even though we were exhausted and beat up. That really made winning special. Oh and i cant forget the rude waitor saturday night at the steakhouse who couldnt seem to treat us as equals just because we were a little sweaty. hah. Nationals here we come!

Woah this weekend was so awesome! I dont know if i've ever been more excited/nervous in my entire volleyball career - everyone contributed to our win this weekend and if we had been missing one person we would not have been able to make it as far as we did. This tournament made our team skills stronger and our team chemistry stronger too. This weekend was amazing and i'm so glad it turned out the way it did!!! I'M SO PROUD OF US! :-D
