Thoughts From A Special Young Lady!

"I have been on a lot of volleyball teams and I have coached a little bit; but, I never truly understood the word "team" until the last five months. This group has taught me so much about all the things we cherish: loyalty, respect, honesty, commitment, team first me second, & togetherness.The bonds that character produces is stronger than any weakness we have.
I have traveled all over the East Coast with these people. . They have become more special to me than I ever would have imagined. I thought I was just going to be an "assistant coach" for a few months, but now I have dozens of lifelong friends between the ages of 14 and 50. Lol. I want to do it and then I want to do it again.
Thank you all for making this such a wonderful experience for me. I'm very appreciative that you all allowed me to walk into your lives & for that I thank you very very much.

A Message From Bre Lockart!

"I'm so thankful to have gotten to work with your girls this year. I know I'm 3 years older than most of them but they always made me feel like part of their team when I came to your practices! I love each and every one of them so much and I can't wait to see what amazing volleyball players and girls they turn into. I'm going to miss practicing with them and getting to talk to them every week. Please let them know that if they ever need advice on volleyball or anything else I will always be here for them! Love you guys, you rock!."

Character Stuff!!

If you have a hard decision to make, and you base your decision on "What's in the best interests of my team," then you will always be able to defend that decision! And you'll be able to sleep at night knowing you did the right thing

Don't even try to please anyone. But always try to do what's in the best interests of your team...whether that's your family, your church, your classroom, or on the court/field. Ggreat teammates base EVER decision on how it will affect the team!

"The more you sacrifice for your team, the more glory the team will give back to you."

You may say, "I don't need my team's glory." I know. None of us do. But when a teammate is asked about you, what will they say? Will they say, "She's AWESOME! I LOVE her and I miss her!" If so, then that's your glory!!!
When your coach is asked about you, what will he say? Will he say, "She puts her team ahead of herself. She's encouraging, dedicated, patient & hard working. I want 10 other athletes on my team just like her." That's your glory!
