Amazing sight when we arrived! WOW!!!
And we got to see this every morning on our walk to the Georgia World Congress Center.

Some Websites I Found Useful:

The Big South Tournament website is here
Big South Facebook page is here.

Click here to see a nice Campus Map.
Here was even a better map!

The GWCC is a huge building.  The map of the complex is here.

There will be a significant walk no matter where we stay or park.
(More on parking below)

Our Playing Site

The Georgia World Congress Center
Website: www.gwcc.com

It consists of 200 acres in the middle of downtown Atlanta. The 3.9 million square feet facility is surrounded by landscaped plazas, public parking lots and two landmarks: the 71,250-seat Georgia Dome and 21-acre Centennial Olympic Park.

Warming up before our first match on Friday morning!

All play was supposed to be concluded on Sunday by 4:00pm. However, they recommended that people do not schedule any departing flights prior to 6:00pm.

All Open Divisions had an 8:00am start time on Friday, March 25.

2016 Player and Staff Wristbands

Player & Staff Wristbands: At Team Check In, the Team Representative were issued wristbands for each player on the roster up to 15 and each staff member up to 3.

These wristbands were included as part of the Team Registration fee – there is no extra charge for them.

The person who checked in the team must pick up all wristbands for that roster. Coaches were told to REMEMBER to issue your players a wristband asking them to meet you inside the playing venue.

Players who did not have a wristband will not be allowed into the playing facility.

Advanced Parking Information

FOR THOSE DRIVING IN EACH DAY: You really want to Reserve Your Parking Place:

The GWCC offers reserve-your-spot parking.
Many of us did this every year from 2010 to 2013.

"Looking to purchase your parking pass ahead of time? Make sure to check out the link here, click on the Online Parking Permits link and follow the prompts to purchase passes for Big South. There are options for Friday - Sunday with each day purchased individually. If you find you need a refund for parking, please call the Georgia World Congress Center at 404-223-4105."

I recommend that parents do this as soon as you receive the email from me because only so many spaces were made available to this program. As of Jan 5, BigSouth wasn't an option yet. If you see that we can reserve parking for BigSouth before you receive the email, please let us know.

If you came here from a google search:
Thank you for coming! Please come back again.
I hope the info here will help you.
