Tournament Format
All 4 team pool matches are three 21-point sets with a starting score of 4 - 4 and no cap. There will NOT be a coin toss for the third set. Teams will switch sides after set 2 and will have a side change at 15 points during third sets. The first two matches of each pool shall start according to the schedule. After that, each match shall begin ten minutes following the previous match.
Playoffs
The top two teams in each pool will advance to playoffs against the other pool. Playoff matches are 2 out of 3 sets to 25. If a third set is required, it will be a 15-point set. No set has a point cap.
The losing team of the final round robin set preceding playoffs shall be the work team for the first round of playoffs. If the losing team qualifies to participate in the first round of playoffs, the winner of the last round robin set shall be the work team for the first round of playoffs. If both teams qualify to participate in the first round of playoffs, the work team for the last round robin match shall be the work team for the first round of playoffs. If a tie breaking set needs to be played to determine which team advances the work team will be the loser of the tie breaking set.
The losing team for each round of playoffs shall be responsible for providing the work team for the next round of playoffs. If an excess of teams are subject to this responsibility, the teams shall be released from work-team assignments on the basis of greatest distance to travel. If the excess of teams are from the same area, then the last team playing shall be the work team.
Playoff work-team assignments shall not be changed unless the host team volunteers to provide qualified work team personnel. Teams responsible for work teams shall not be released from assigned matches unless they are specifically advised of their release by the Tournament Director. |

From I-64 to the Club
1. Take the "Staples Mill Rd/Dickens Rd. " exit. It's exit 185A.
2. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Dickens Rd.
3. At stoplight, turn left onto Staples Mill Rd. and follow to Dumbarton Ave. (next stoplight).
4. Turn right onto Dumbarton Rd. and follow to Byrdhill Rd.
5. Turn right onto Byrdhill Rd. and follow to 2921.
6. The club is on the right after Ducts Unlimited. |
