"I believe that this tournament was the best we’ve ever played. During the entire tournament everyone was very positive and never gave up. That we came back in a 3rd game and won, from trailing 1-7 is amazing. I also really enjoyed all eating together at my house because everyone was able to interact and not just sit at a table the whole time. All in all, I really enjoyed Shamrock. Everyone played really well and we can’t go anywhere but up."

When everything seemed to be going downhill when we lost the first set, that just made us even more hungry to win. I believe that our team can do anything together. We started off on Court 5, seeded #35. Then we won our first 5 matches, knocking out the #5 seed and beating four 16's teams along the way. On Saturday night, we were down 1-7 in the 3rd and won! Amazing weekend!

We were the ONLY local team to make 16's gold playoffs.
We won our 1st round playoff match, and thus were the ONLY 15's team to make the final 8!
Shamrock 2014 was a magical weekend!
And we still have Atlanta, Asheville, the Bid Tournament, and Rumble to go!
We can't wait!

The Shamrock Festival hosts an annual Shamrock Recruiting Showcase on the Friday night before the tournament starts on nine courts at the Roanoke Civic Center. Our Showcase provides an opportunity for college coaches to see as many athletes as possible in one location.

The 2013 Food/Drink Policy
Some sites have very strict food/drink policies while others may be more lenient. Please be respectful of tournament staff who will provide further instructions at each site. Specifically, the Roanoke Civic Center, Spectrum Sports Academy, and Patrick Henry HS will NOT allow any outside food/drink in the building with the exception of water bottles for players. The RCC will be searching bags/purses to enforce this policy upon entrance and there is a separate entrance for players to speed up their entry. Concessions are sold onsite so don't try to sneak in your morning coffee or fast food lunch. :) Also, no chairs are permitted inside Patrick Henry HS but bleachers are provided.
