November 10, 2009. I sent this to a parent today. If you
are considering this camp, the following may answer some of your
questions.
"If [your daughter] really wants to attend the H.E. camp, I advise
you to download the form on the website, then fill it out and send
it in. The camp will be full when we get 32 campers who are good
volleyball players. We won't be waiting for the best 32 that
we can possibly get, b/c we can't wait until May 1st to tell people
whether they're accepted or not. When we get 32 GOOD campers,
people who can play the game at a high level, we will close the
registration. Every year I have directed a H.E., a few
players have attempted to enter and we have to say, "Sorry, we just
don't think we can accept you." We return their money."
"The H.E. camp I directed in Lynchburg in 2008 filled up in the last
few weeks, and last year's filled up in May. So I don't know what to
tell you......except the more successful the camps get, the quicker
they fill. And we all thought last year's was a BLAST! Maybe
this one will fill in April? March? I would just encourage you to
not put it off long."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you were interested in attending this camp, we're sorry. It has been full
for a few months.
Next summer, we may have both a High Expectations and a Maximum Expectations camp.....just wait and see the staff that we're going to create for THAT camp! You'll be saying, "Coach Houser, are you KIDDING ME?!?!?!"
