 Coach Miller has been the head coach at Averett University for 16 years.   Miller has led the Cougars to a 404-203 record and four NCAA Tournament appearances. Ashley Edwards
 Averett University
Ashley was Coach Miller's assistant for three years at Averett University.  Edwards played four years at Tennessee Wesleyan College, where she graduated in 2007 with a B.S. in History. Prior to joining the Averett staff, she worked for Tennessee Wesleyan for a year as the Director of Annual Giving.  She is working on her Masters of Education degree at Averett.  Edwards resides in Danville with her son, Lucas.   You can contact Coach Edwards at 434-791-5737 or at  ashley.edwards@averett.edu

Devyn Bayes
Devyn graduated from Ferrum College in 2010, where she made the volleyball team as a walk-on her freshman year!!  She graduated from George Washington High School in Danville, VA in 2007, where she played volleyball for six years.  Devyn is now in graduate school at American University in Washington DC.  Devyn has now assisted with seventeen STAR volleyball camps, including being the rookie camp director at Chugiak High in Anchorage Alaska in July of 2009 and at Timberlake Camp in July 2010.  Her email is:   dbayes@ferrum.edu   Facebook page is here. 

Tim McSherry
Tim has been playing organized league volleyball for 19 years.  He  serves on the board of directors for the Roanoke Valley Volleyball Association.  www.RVVA.net   He was an assistant coach at Faith Christian School for 4 years and acted as head coach for 1 year.  He assisted at Roanoke Catholic School in 2009, and then became the head JV coach in the fall of 2010.  You can contact Tim at rcemsmedic@cox.net

Nicole Kane
Nicole is the middle school coach at Timberlake Christian.  She is a graduate of Liberty University and teacher physical education at Timberlake.  She also coaches girls basketball and assisted this past season with the varsity girls soccer team.  You can contact her at nkane@tcs4u.org  or ndkane@liberty.edu

Allison Sparks
Allison will be a sophomore at Averett University where she had an outstanding freshman year starting much of the year as an outside hitter. She played for Rockingham County HS. She also played for three years under Coach Miller for Caswell Volleyball Club.

Sarah will be a sophomore at Averett University where she had an all-conference season as a starting middle hitter. She played for Rockingham County HS. She also played for three years under Coach Miller for Caswell Volleyball Club. 
 

DIRECTIONS TO TIMBERLAKE CHRISTIAN

From the west.....as if you're coming from Roanoke:

Take 460 East – Take the 460 Business exit ( also Timberlake Road). Go to the 3rd stoplight and take a left onto Waterlick Road. Go about 1 mile and take a right onto Locksley Place. Go about ¼ mile and the road will T. Take a right and the school is about 200 yards on the right. To get to Timberlake Christian School coming from Danville:

From the south.....as if you're coming from Rustburg, Altavista, etc.:

Come into Lynchburg on 29 North. As you approach Lynchburg take 460 West toward Roanoke. In about 1 mile exit right onto Greenview Drive. Go right at the end of the exit and go to the 3rd stoplight. Take a left on Timberlake Road.  Go to the 6th stoplight and take a right onto Waterlick Road. Go about 1 mile and take a right onto Locksley Place. Go ¼ mile and the road will T. Private Lessons In Roanoke

If anyone is interested in some one-on-one training. Coach Houser offers player training nearly every Sat & Sun night at North Cross School in Roanoke. 

Lessons are occurring 12 months a year, but Coach Houser won't personally be offering any lesson b/c of his Junior Volleyball team is! 

Girls come from West Virginia, Pulaski, Martinsville, Hillsville, Lynchburg, etc.
