Camp Info:
Format:
Monday - Wednesday: probably 9am to 4pm with a one hour lunch break.
Thursday will probably be 9am to 1pm.
There will be a tournament for the last few hours of Thursday.
Divisions:
The JV's will probably be at the middle school.
The varsity girls will probably be at the high school!
Cost:
Gretna athletes: $155
All others: $170
Same as last year. :)

On May 1, Coach Colbert will start accepting girls from other schools....if there's room!
Maximum Campers:
25 in the rookie division.
20 in the veteran division.
Value:
This camp will again offer the girls
high quality instruction and will give
more personal attention to the participants.

Director: Tom Houser
Coach Houser is the owner of STAR Volleyball Camps. He is the author of the "I Can't Wait" to coach books, and Drill Collection. He is presently coaching a 15's National club team in Roanoke, Virginia. You can see more about Coach Houser here.

Hannah Shields
Hannah has played 2 years as an OH at Averett University. Both years she has been named 1st team All-Confernece. In her freshman year she finished the season with the 3rd highest kill total in all of NCAA D3 and was also named USA South Rookie Of The Year. In her 2nd year, she had the highest! Plus she was named Conference Player Of The year! Hannah is a 2014 graduate of Dan River High School, near Danville, Va. She played 6 years of school vball and 5 years of club vball. She played on Coach Houser's team in 2012 that attended Jr Nationals in Columbus Ohio! She was named 1st team all state her senior year at Dan River. Sydney Shelton
Sydney is a member of the Danville Community College volleyball team. She is a 2015 graduate of Gretna High School. She has played volleyball for 5 years. She was the captain for one year and received the JV MVP award in 2011. She plans to major in Kinesiology and become a high school Physical Education and one day be a coach. Mikhala Stafford
Mikhala is a 2016 graduate of Rockbridge County High School in Lexington, Va. She has played 7 years of school volleyball. She would have played 7 years of club but has had some knee injuries that have forced her to miss two seasons. She's been selected 1st-team all conference 3 times and 1st-team all region twice. She was her school varsity captain for 3 seasons and the varsity MVP three times. You will LOVE getting to know Mikhala! You can contact her at MikhalaStafford98@icloud.com!
Bre Lockhart
Bre is a 2016 graduate of Hidden Valley High where she played 6 years of school volleyball and 6 years of club volleyball. She finished her career 6th in VHSL history in career aces with 356. She will playing volleyball at Randolph Macon next fall. You can contact Bre at BreLockhart@aol.com
Harper Scollo
Harper is a 2016 graduate of Chatham High School where she played 5 years of school volleyball and 5 years of club volleyball. This past year she played for NRV's top 18's team! She will playing volleyball at Averett University next fall. You can contact Harper at HarperCScollo@gmail.com
