Maximum Campers:
The maximum number may be 20 in the older division and 30 in the younger division.
However, as the numbers get bigger, more coaches will be hired to maintain the 1:4 coach/camper ratio. 

This year there will definitely be two divisions!
So, both the younger girls and the older girls can go at the pace that's best for them!

Coach Houser is the owner of STAR Volleyball Camps. He is the author of the "I Can't Wait" to coach books, and Drill Collection. He is presently coaching the NRV 15's National club team in Roanoke, Virginia. You can see more about Coach Houser here.

Minor League Camp Director:

Katey Holley:
Katey is a sophomore at Averett University in Danville, Va, where she's played 2 years on the volleyball team. This past fall she was the starting libero. She is a 2012 graduate of Westover Christian. She played school ball for 6 years, club ball for 3 years. During her senior year at WCA, the team won their first ever VACA state championship and she was named tournament MVP. That same year, she was named Metro Danville Player Of The Year. The article is here. Camp Assistants: 

Sam Thomas
Sam is varsity head coach at Deep Run High School. She was the freshman coach at Mills Godwin in Richmond, coached JV at Topsail High in Charleston SC, and has been the JV coach at Deep Run for one year. She has coached club in North Carolina and Virginia. She played college volleyball at Cape Fear Community College and Shenandoah University. She is a 2008 graduate of North Cross High School in Roanoke, Va. She was an assistant coach with Roanoke Juniors in 2007 team, and has assisted with eighteen STAR camps! Victoria Gentry
Victoria is a 2012 graduate of Westover Christian where her team won the VISSA state championship her senior year. She played 5 years of school ball, and last summer assisted with three STAR camps. You can contact Victoria at tori_g7@yahoo.com

Hannah Shields
Hannah is a 2014 graduate of Dan River High School.  She has played 6 years of school vball and 5 years of club vball.  She played on Coach Houser's team in 2012 that attended Jr Nationals in Columbus Ohio! She was named 1st team all state her senior year at Dan River, and is hoping to play college vball in the fall.  You can see a nice article about her here.  You can contact Hannah at hannah_shields3@yahoo.com

According to NCAA rules, graduates ARE eligible to participate in a summer high school camps.  This will not get them in any trouble and it will not jeopardize their college volleyball eligibility.
