2023 Camp Format:
Mon - Wednesday 9am to 4pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
Thursday 9am to 1pm with no lunch break.
We are planning on 2 divisions.

Cost: $215 for athletes at DRHS & DRMS
$230 for all other athletes

Maximum Number:
20 in the Major League division and
20 in the Minor League division.

There are limited number of spaces available, plus, some players from other schools will probably be allowed to attend, so, campers were urged to not procrastinate!

Camp Coaches!

Director: Tom Houser

Coach Houser is the owner of STAR Volleyball Camps. He is the author of the "I Can't Wait" to coach books, and Drill Collection. He has coached 18 varsity teams, 11 JV teams, 26 club teams and directed 99 camps in 9 states in the past 8 years. You can see more about Coach Houser here.

Heidi Moore
Coach Moore is the head coach at Patrick County High School. She took over the job in 2006, has been named the Piedmont Coach Of the Year 7 times, has been named Patrick Co. High Coach Of The Year twice, and has a record of 205 wins and only 115 losses. Her team has won the district regular season 3 times, and the tournament 4 times! Emily Dudley
Emily played 6 years of school ball in the awesome Hidden Valley volleyball program. She also played 6 years of club. She not only takes dozens of hours private lessons each year, but gives privates, and has assisted nearly 200 hours in the past 2 yeas. She's motivational, a leader and has immense knowledge! Hannah Hylton
Hannah will be a senior this fall at Glenvar High in Roanoke. Hannah and her teammates were Viginia 2A state champs this past season where she was the starting libero!! Hannah has played 5 seasons of school volleyball and 6 seasons of club. She also loves hitting, from both the front row and back row! Hannah was named 1st team all-distict and 2nd team all-region the past two seasons. You can reach Hannah at hannah.hylton@comcast.net!

Cara Butler
Cara will be a senior this fall at Glenvar High in Roanoke and was a member of the team's 2A state championship in the fall of 2021. She has played 5 seasons of school volleyball and 6 seasons of club. Her mom and dad are both coaches! She was 2nd team All-State libero her sophomore season & 2nd team All-Region setter here junior season! WOW! She knows the game inside & out. You can reach Cara at carabutler1013@gmail.com!

Madison Hare
Madison will be a senior on the Roanoke Home School team this fall! She has played 6 years of school ball, 5 years of club ball, and is in the gym working on her skills constantly!
