Coach Houser is the owner of STAR Volleyball Camps. He is the author of the "I Can't Wait" to coach books, and Drill Collection. He has coached 18 varsity teams, 10 JV teams, 26 club teams and directed 87 camps in 9 states in the past 7 years. Heidi Moore
Coach Moore is the head coach at Patrick County High School. She took over the job in 2006, has been named the Piedmont Coach Of the Year 7 times, has been named Patrick Co. High Coach Of The Year twice, and has a record of 205 wins and only 115 losses. Her team has won the district regular season 3 times, and the tournament 4 times! Ashlea Havens
Ashlea is the head varsity vball coach at Carlisle School in Martinsville. She is also coaching a club team for State Line Vball Club. Before that, she played two seasons at Patrick Henry Community College on their volleyball team. She is a 2018 graduate of Patrick County High where she played DS & Libero. She played 5 years of high school vball as well as 5 seasons of travel. She also played softball for 8 years. including travel & school. Kaylee Scearce
Kaylee is a rising junior volleyball player at UVa-Wise. She is a 2021 graduate of Tunstall High where she was named 1st team all-district twice, and 1st team all region once. She was captain of the team and was team MVP as a senior. Kaylee worked one STAR camp last summer and we were all so impressed that we want her back for 2023! Erin Saunders
Erin will be a freshman on the volleyball team at Regent University this coming fall. She's a 2023 graduate of Westover Christian in Danville, Va. She has played school ball for seven seasons, 5 seasons of club ball. She has been a starter on the varsity team the past five seasons as an OH. She also plays basketball, soccer and was the saludatorian of the senior class. She was named first-team all-state VACA the past 3 seasons. You can contact Erin at esaunders2023@gmail.com!

Leah Bouldin
Leah will also be a senior on the Roanoke Home School team this fall! She has played 6 years of school ball, 3 years of club ball. She was the director of Coach Houser's Junior Training Academy in the winter, where she led 5 other coaches working with girls ages 10-13. She attended College Expectations last summer. Myah Crews

What The Camp Entails:
We will start the camp in separate divisions working on the girls' skills to ensure all the athletes can serve, pass, hit and dig properly. Throughout the camp, setters will get a lot of time working with coaches who specialize in setting. On the 2nd day, competitions will begin which emphasize the skills of the game. On the 3rd day, teams will be created in each division to get ready for the Thursday tournament. For the final few hours on Thursday, athletes and parents wil love watching the tournament!!

According to NCAA rules, graduates ARE eligible to participate in a summer high school camp.  This will not get them in any trouble and it will not jeopardize their college volleyball eligibility.
